Group travel breaks in the same five places every time.

Not the people. The trip is being run across a spreadsheet, a maps app, a currency converter, and a group chat nobody can keep up with.

WanderBuddy is the one app that handles all five. See how.

  1. Five chats, and nobody is actually deciding anything.

  2. One person becomes the spreadsheet, and quietly resents it.

  3. Everyone wants a different version of the same city.

  4. On the ground, the language barrier becomes everyone’s problem.

  5. “Where is everyone?” Asked forty times a day.

Everything a group trip needs, and nothing it does not

Eleven tools in one app, because five group chats and a spreadsheet is not a plan.

A full itinerary before you have picked a flight

Give it a destination and your dates. It writes the day-by-day plan, and everyone in the trip sees and edits the same version.

  • Day-by-day output you can reorder and edit
  • Suggestions account for travel time between stops
  • Regenerate any single day without losing the rest
The AI planner turning a destination and dates into a full day-by-day itinerary the whole group shares.

Ask your trip a question from WhatsApp

Link your number once, then text WanderBuddy like you text a friend. It reads your trip and answers: what is next, when the flight leaves, how the budget looks, ideas near your next stop.

  • What is next, flights, and the running budget, on demand
  • Ideas near your next stop, grounded on your real trip
  • Read-only: it answers, it never books or changes a thing
  • Linking your number is free; asking is a Premium perk
A live voice room where everyone speaks their own language and reads the room in theirs, with captions.

Everyone speaks their own language, out loud

Group chat and DMs to plan. Then a voice room where everyone talks in their language and reads the room in theirs, live, with captions. Plus a translate tool for signs, menus and forms.

A live shared map with every traveller converging on the day’s meet point.

The plan on a map, and each other on it

Itinerary stops plot to a shared map. Live location is opt-in per trip, needs both sides to agree, and expires on a timer you set. On the day, everyone sees who is converging on the meet point.

Shared expenses in multiple currencies with a running balance showing who owes whom.

Nobody has to be the spreadsheet person

Log what you paid in the currency you paid it in. WanderBuddy tracks who owes whom, for the whole trip, as you go.

The Documents vault holding each traveller’s passport, tickets and visa, stored on the device.

Passports and tickets, on you and offline

Keep every traveller’s passport, tickets and visa in one place, stored on the device. It nudges the crew before a passport expires and before a flight leaves.

Entry requirements checked against your passport and your destination, next to the trip.

Find out what you need before the airport does

Entry requirements checked against your passport and your destination, in the app, next to the trip they belong to.

A day-by-day itinerary with the Trip Vibe radar scoring the trip across nature, culture, nightlife, adventure and local food.

Two trips to the same city are never the same trip

Trip Vibe scores yours across five axes, so the group can settle what kind of week it wants before anyone books.

Sunset at Tanah Lot2 / 3
Cooking class in Ubud1 / 3

3 votes adds a stop to the itinerary.

Put it to the group, not the loudest voice

Propose a stop or a date and the group votes. Three votes and it is on the itinerary. No more deciding by whoever answers the chat last.

The WanderBuddy home screen: your trips, a Safety and SOS shortcut, join a trip, and Plan with AI, all in one place.

Everyone in one place instead of five group chats

Create a trip, share a code, and the group assembles itself. Public trips show live capacity, so a half-full trip can find the rest of its people.

The tools you hope stay unused

An SOS that reaches your trip, local emergency numbers for where you actually are, and the guidance that matters in an unfamiliar city.

One continuous flight, every screen real

Every frame here is the shipping app in its own dark theme. The plane takes off, cruises past each tool, and lands.

  1. Everything for the trip. One app.
  2. Point at a map. Get a plan.
  3. A plan you will argue over.
  4. Nobody does the math.
  5. Passport panic, cancelled.
  6. Will they let you in? Find out first.
  7. “Where are you?” Answered.
  8. Speak yours. They read it in theirs.
  9. Your next trip starts here.

What’s your Trip Vibe?

Two people fly to the same city and come home from different trips. Take the 40-second quiz, get a shareable card, and see your travel style scored on nature, culture, nightlife, adventure and food. It’s the same score WanderBuddy puts on every trip.

Built by someone who got tired of the group chat

A few of the decisions that shaped it, including the ones that cost money.

No ads. Not now, not later.

No advertising, and your trip data is never sold or used to target you. Group travel means knowing where people are and what they spend. That is not data to auction.

You can see where the money goes

Every paid extra shows the store’s cut and the real cost behind it, inside the app. Not a promise on a pricing page, a screen you can open.

Free is a real plan, not a demo

Plan the whole trip for nothing: itinerary, chat, map, expenses, visa checks. Paid tiers add capacity, never the features you already use.

up to 10 travellers and 2GB per trip

Built for the group, not the solo traveller

Most travel apps assume one person with one itinerary. Every screen here assumes several people, disagreeing, in different time zones, on different budgets.

Free covers the whole trip. Paid adds room.

Premium raises the trip size from 10 to 100 travellers and storage from 2GB to 27GB. It does not unlock features you were already using.

What is not built yet

Listed plainly. A feature grid that quietly includes things that do not exist is how travel apps lose people at the airport.

  1. 01Building now

    Offline itineraries and maps

Today the app needs a connection for trip data. Next is a full offline read of your itinerary, map, and documents, because you need the plan most when you have no signal.

  2. 02Building now

    Interpreter mode in Live Conversation

Voice rooms carry live captions now. Next is spoken translation, so a conversation can happen out loud in two languages at once.

  3. 03Up next

    Booking, inside the trip

Flights, stays, and experiences booked against the itinerary you already built, so the plan and the reservations stop being two systems.

  4. 04Exploring

    Trip recaps worth keeping

An automatic end-of-trip piece built from the route you actually walked, the photos, and the numbers.

The things people ask first

Not here? Email us and a person will reply.

  • Is WanderBuddy free?

Yes, and the free plan is the whole app, not a trial. AI planner, itinerary, group chat, shared map, expenses, and visa checks, with up to 10 travellers and 2GB of photos per trip. Premium raises the limits.

  • What does Premium cost?

    $6.99 a month, or $59.99 a year (about $5 a month, 28% off). Monthly includes a 7-day free trial. There is also a one-time $100 option that never recurs.

  • What does Premium actually add?

Capacity, not features. Trips go from 10 to 100 travellers and storage from 2GB to 27GB. Nothing you can do on the free plan gets paywalled later.

  • Can I book flights or hotels in the app?

Not yet. WanderBuddy plans the trip today. Booking is on the roadmap and will sit against the itinerary you already built, not as a separate flow.

  • Does it work offline?

Not fully. Trip data needs a connection right now. Offline itineraries and maps are the thing we are building next.

  • Who can see my location?

Only the trip members you approve, only while sharing is on, and only until your timer runs out. It is off by default, opt-in per trip, and stoppable at any moment. Nothing is collected in the background when sharing is off.

  • Do you sell my data or show ads?

No to both. There is no advertising in the app, and your personal data is not sold. Trip content is visible to the other members of that trip, which is the point.

  • How do I cancel or restore a purchase?

Restore from Profile → Upgrade to Premium → Restore purchase, signed in to the store account you bought with. Cancel from your store subscriptions page; you keep Premium until the current period ends.

  • How do I delete my account?

Profile → Delete account removes your profile, trips, messages, expenses, and locations permanently. For an export instead, email us from your account address.
